Siew Wei & Shu Keng’s Fun-Loving Chinese Traditional Wedding Ceremony

When it comes to Chinese traditional wedding ceremonies, there’s often a long to-do list and traditional customs to follow to ensure the union is auspicious and blessed. Over the years of covering countless ceremonies of this kind, I’ve witnessed those traditional customs becoming more simplified over the years, which definitely appeals to our young and modern newlyweds. Siew Wei and Shu Keng did exactly that with a very simple ceremony, honoring all the essential customs while making their day all the more special with subtle personal touches such as customized face masks and accessories for their bridal parties. It was also a refreshing experience photographing their bridal portraits in a farm estate that belonged to the groom’s dad. Enjoy these images!
