Michelle & Wai Keongβs Tasteful Micro Wedding In Rama V
Ever since the world was hit by the pandemic, weβve had to make many adjustments and adapt accordingly. Many events including weddings have scaled down quite significantly, and although micro weddings arenβt necessarily a new thing in the industry, many couples, including Michelle and Wai Keong, have embraced it for their wedding ceremony. With a guest list of under 20, it was one of the most intimate weddings Iβve documented and Iβm absolutely in love with how personal it felt. One of the greater advantage of a micro wedding is that we get to spend a lot more time taking photographs of the couple and their family without rushing against time.
Everything was tastefully done from the table setup, arch decor to the choice of the brideβs outfit, blending tradition with fashion seamlessly as Michelle changes from a traditional saree during the exchange of vows to a modern wedding dress for the reception. Although there was a slight hiccup during the vows exchange ceremony due to a sudden downpour, the restaurant and decorator were able to swiftly bring the ceremony indoors by mobilizing the wedding arch to a designated spot within the restaurant in case of any unforeseen circumstances, and thatβs what I call fantastic wedding planning. Are mirco weddings here to stay? I think so!
