Ivy & Neil’s Central Park Inspired Engagement Session

It's so easy to fall in love, but it takes a lot to make a relationship work. Ivy and Neil stood the test of time, having stayed loyal and loving to each other for a decade and counting since they first met each other in culinary school. Their relationship made so much sense and their affection for one another shines through despite their shy demeanor in front of the camera, and I hope you'll feel it through these images. The three of us have spent our early adulthood in US and we have a shared adoration for the Central Park in New York City, a meticulously landscaped (and humongous) park in the middle of the Big Apple. Spending time with the both of them brought back fond memories from that one time I spent Christmas people watching with my best friend in Central Park, a scene nothing short of magical and romantic as the snow falls. Thank you for inspiring me!

About the location:
Tamarind Springs have become one of my favorite spots to photograph in recent years because of the eclectic elements that made this development unique. Luscious greens of trees, hedges, vines and climbers dons the otherwise cold, industrial looking building complexes. The beehive like structure in the center stood out as an architectural marvel at every turn of the corner.
