Beatrice & Collin’s Intimate Chinese Traditional Tea Ceremony

There’s something very endearing about intimate weddings. It’s the fact that everyone seems more relaxed in their own element and because there’s no urgency of meeting a timeline or trying to juggle 10,000 things at once, the couple is able to relish every moment as they unfold. For instance, Collin managed to grab a coffee at a cafe nearby before his call time to fetch his bride, and Beatrice was having her glam portraits taken while we wait for all the guests to arrive. I love these seemingly subtle yet memorable in between details which used to be a rare sight when I was documenting marathon-long wedding days. I hope more couples will see the beauty in keeping your ceremonies intimate, and appreciate the value in making your big day enjoyable, memorable and as stress-free as possible.
